Change is ever present.
Every day confronts us with new choices to make, both within our
work and outside of it. I am driven by the wish to help people
see opportunities and to experience possibilities where these aren’t
so obvious. The practical guidance of Aikido and Buddhist traditions
serves as source of inspiration.
Bisho is Japanese for ‘smile’. It’s the faint
curl of the lips that you can notice on a Buddha’s statue.
It is the face of grandparents when they see new life and old habits
in their grandchildren. It is the smile of being involved and committed,
of balance, of positive equanimity. Of being a part of what happens,
fully and lively, without being absorbed by what is happening.
'Bisho' is an expression of a quality that enables one to handle
positively and effectively what we encounter in our daily life.
Being involved and balanced helps a healthy balance between tension
and relaxation, so we are able to move and act when we have to,
and remain calm and in rest when we can.
Cooperating with humour, mindfullness, awareness and balancing concentration
with relaxation – those are the things that count when we work
with you. We can organize, lead or coach projects or processes where
a high degree of cooperation and communication is required, but far
from obvious. Our workshops are based on the practice and exercises
of Aikido and Buddhism. They are aimed to provide help and inspirations
for those situations that require the effective handling of stress
and pressure. Situations where one has to deal with or resolve conflict,
for instance, or where an improvement of communication is needed. |
