Practice group Nonviolent Communication™
Our daily communication is often layered with all kinds of messages
of blame, criticism, anger, fear etc. It is not always easy to communicate
clearly and honestly what's alive in us. Let alone that it is easy to
connect to what is alive in others when they use words like 'After all
that I have done for you, the least you can do is...', or 'You are the
most brilliant man I know...'.
Marshall Rosenberg developed Nonviolent Communication™ as a
language of life, to aid an awareness and connection that can help us
connect with others from the heart. This connection in its turn helps us
to do what we like best: to give and receive from the heart to make life
wonderful. The NVC-model which focusses on our observations, feelings, needs
and present requests is being used the world over to prevent and transform
conflicts and to support healing.
Together with Peter Herman I have gathered a group of people who are
familiar with NVC and who like to practice regularly. We get together once
a month (roughly) and share, practice, experiment and explore. I would like
to invite whoever is interested to come and join us. Please send me an e-mail to
get informed about the data: christiaan@bisho.nl.
